Other figures

Figures, like plushies, are one of the main parts of Pokemon merch since the beginning, coming in a lot of shapes, sizes and variety of Pokemon and trainers, including the Gigalith family. We already saw the Pokemon Kids line of figures, now here are the others.

Gigalith Chupa Surprise Figure

This very small figure, made by Takara Tomy, came in a plastic Poke Ball encased over a ChupaChups lollipop. These were sold for a limited time and quantity at Pokemon Centers and a few licensed retails shop in Japan; This figure is now quite rare.

Boldore Tomy Pokemon Monster Collection Figure

This figure, made by Takara Tomy, was sold at Pokemon Centers and some toy stores in Japan, starting in August 2012. it came with a plastic base that can be connected with other ones and a gear to turn the figure. Approximately 1.75'' x 1.25''.

Zukan figure

This figure is not really official but is interesting enough to be put there. Official Zukan figures are Gachapon resin figures that came in capsules. They were produced from 2003 to 2015, at the beginning by Yujin, and by Takara Tomy ARTS for the most recent sets. They represented many Pokemon lines in a 1/40 scale according to their Pokedex sizes. Gigalith line didn't have one. However, there is a small Chinese company that makes figures in the Zukan style for Pokemon in that case. These figures are very rare (and expensive), only 40 of the Gigalith family were made. In 2020, an new one in a 1/20 scale has been made available for preorders.

That's all for the moment ! I personally think that we missed an opportunity to have a new figure for the line with the Re-Ment Gemstone Collection that is litteraly Pokemon and crystals, which would have fitted Gigalith family perfectly.
