Plushies

Plushes are a popular part of Pokemon merch : they are cute, soft and come in a lot of shapes and sizes. Each member of the Gigalith line got one,  all from the My Pokemon Collection line.

A few words on the My Pokemon Collection line

The Japanese logo of the line

This line of plushies, produced by Banpresto started in April 2011 and ended in June 2016. Its main particularity is that every gen 5 Pokemon got one, even the least popular. A few Pokemon from other generations were represented too. There is a QR code on the tag that allows you, when scanned, to see your collection and even name your plushie ! Unfortunately, these seems to don't work anymore. They were a total of 312 plushies and 54 sets.

So, as stated before, all gen 5 Pokemon got a plush, therefore including our rocks. Who knew they could be so soft and cuddly ? They were only available in UFO game catcher machines in arcade or game centers in Japan. UFO game catchers are a game in which you have to pick up the plush with a crane and drop it in a hole to get it, winning is quite difficult. They were not sold in any Pokemon Center or store and made in a little quantity for a limited time.

The Roggenrola plushie is approximately 4.5''. It's part of the Series 15, released on May 23, 2012.

The Boldore plushie is approximately 3''. It's part of the Series 18, released on August 21 2012.

The Gigalith plushie is approximately 4''. It's part of the Series E, released on June 19, 2012.

All the plushies have a keychain so they could be attached to various things.

That's all on plushies for the moment, hopefully new plushies will be released in the future. Gigalith line are not popular so they're less likely to get a new plush than fan-favourites such as the Eeveelutions or Mimikyu, but there is still hope. Maybe there will be an Unova line of Pokemon Fit ?
