[Set] Suicide Lead

 

The role of this Gigalith is to be sent in first to set up Stealth Rock, and/or Gravity, then doing big damage with Explosion, allowing you to send a Pokemon with Sand Rush such as Excadrill, Dracozolt or Stoutland to double their speed. Gravity will be useful for Excadrill as it allows it to hit Flying types with Earthquake. The Smooth Rock will extend the Sandstorm turns. However, as Explosion will make Gigalith faint, you won't have another way to induce another Sandstorm in the game if something prevents your Sand Rusher to sweep, if you don't have another Pokemon with Sand Stream. This set is more suited for offensive teams.

Variants

- You can use Gigalith as a simple lead, not necessarily with Explosion.

- Replace Gravity with an offensive move.
