Ga-Olé Disks

Image
Pokemon Ga-Olé is an arcade game developped by Takara Tomy ARTS and Marvelous. It launched in Japan on July 2016, and later in Taiwan and Mainland China in 2020. This game features 2vs2 battles in a variety of environments. Players can purchase disks by catching or evolving Pokemon. When a Pokemon is caught, it is printed on the disk. The disks can be inserted in slots during gameplay. The PokeBall icon changes according to which ball the player uses to catch the Pokemon in the game, so a same disk can have several variants. Disk data is located in the QR code, the machine reads them. These QR codes can also be used with the QR scanner function of Alola games to add the Pokemon on the disk's data to the Pokedex, providing the doubles of points a normal scan would. Also, there were Ga-Olé Passes that allows players to record their game activity and benefit from other advantages. Gigalith and its family appeared in two Ga-Olé sets. Battrio Coins

Image
Pokemon Battrio is an arcade game in Japan that features 3vs3 Pokemon battles (the name comes from battle and trio ). Coins representing Pokemon are used on a sensor board to move said Pokemon in the game. These coins are also collectable. Most coins are purchased through the machine before starting a new game, in a random way, or can be obtained in packs similar to the TCG boosters. Some others are available in special promotions like movie releases, or are given with the Battrio Visual Guide books. The coins were released through several sets. The game lasted from 2007 to 2012, before being replaced with Pokemon Tretta.  A Battrio game machine Here are the coins Gigalith got. Roggenrola and Boldore didn't appear in the game. [Set] Rockium Z

Image
A set for gen 7 formats or National Dex, this Gigalith will be able to use a powerful Rock type attack. Despite being offensively oriented, it can still support its team with Stealth Rock, several time in the battle most of the time. Earthquake and Throat Chop are there to hit more Pokemon. Like for the other sets, be wary of Gigalith's weaknesses, low speed and lack of recovery. Also, chose the moment you use the Z move wisely, as it can only be used one time per battle. Variants - Replace Throat Chop by Iron Head / Heavy Slam or Superpower (or Body Press if you play in National Dex)

[Set] Suicide Lead

Image
The role of this Gigalith is to be sent in first to set up Stealth Rock, and/or Gravity, then doing big damage with Explosion, allowing you to send a Pokemon with Sand Rush such as Excadrill, Dracozolt or Stoutland to double their speed. Gravity will be useful for Excadrill as it allows it to hit Flying types with Earthquake. The Smooth Rock will extend the Sandstorm turns. However, as Explosion will make Gigalith faint, you won't have another way to induce another Sandstorm in the game if something prevents your Sand Rusher to sweep, if you don't have another Pokemon with Sand Stream. This set is more suited for offensive teams. Variants - You can use Gigalith as a simple lead, not necessarily with Explosion. - Replace Gravity with an offensive move.
